Our BEST IN TEXAS vision touches all our populations—clients, carriers, communities—but this time it’s our employees who also need our BEST.

Many of our own suffered devastating damage during Hurricane Harvey. Some even lost their homes.

The Higginbotham Community Fund Advisory Board is already working to identify local 501(c)(3) nonprofits that will have the largest impact on the wounded communities, and those will receive a grant. Regrettably, the bylaws of the North Texas Community Foundation prevent us from giving grants to individual employees who endured losses.

But, here’s what we can do. We can come together like the family I’ve witnessed so many times before and raise funds that will go directly to our employees who so desperately need it.  If you’re able to help in even a small way, please go to our Go Fund Me (hyperlink) webpage to make a donation. And, spread the word to others who can help too.

I wouldn’t ask something of you that I wouldn’t do myself. So, I’ve made a personal donation that Higginbotham has matched. Already, the fund is up to $20,000!

We’re adept at rallying for our clients and communities when tragedy strikes. I hope we can do the same for our own Higginbotham family members.
